How does MPC security work?
24-word phrase
24 random words representing 1 fragment of your wallet key; you can use it to recover your wallet.
2-factor authentication
One fragment of your key is stored on our servers privately and securely, and can only be accessed with the 2-factor key you choose (Google Authenticator, USB 2FA, etc.).
Physical storage
You can choose to store a key fragment on a hard drive, a USB stick or the device you prefer; you will need to connect it for it to be saved. When recovering your wallet, if you want to use this fragment, you must connect it again.
Cloud
Choose your preferred cloud provider to store 1 fragment of your key (Google Drive, iCloud, Samsung, etc.).
Human Guardians
You can choose 2 close people to guard 1 fragment of your key. The fragment is stored on their phones and is only useful if both accept that you are recovering the wallet at a given time. (Enter their username to choose them; they must accept.)
Extra fragment on your phone
A sixth fragment is stored encrypted on your phone, helping you sign daily transactions with your biometrics or password.
